WHY IN THE MANGER?

MangerBecause there was no room for JESUS.

  1. so that anybody could approach Jesus. Even the poorest (shepherds and the richest (kings) of their time went to the manger

  2. so that Jesus would never have NO PROBLEM coming to you and me.

*if God set aside His power, His glory to dwell on a stingy and dirty container as the MANGER…HOW MUCH MORE IN OUR LIVES!

*many times we could feel we are unworthy to receive Him inside our hearts, many times we look at ourselves and see a sinful, unholy, and undeserving to have relationship with JESUS. All we need to do is to understand that JESUS had PROVEN it already in the MANGER!

UNITED

DOCTORS

MEDICAL

CENTER

I can’t imagine gathering 125 absences in the hospital, whew. But my stay in UDMC was one of the most encouraging, one of the most challenging experience I got. I love the workplace, the standard, and the policies of the hospital. I learn to love and trust this institution. Every time any of my family members is sick, I always refer UDMC as the hospital of choice because of location proximity to our place and because of the trust I gained while serving this hospital for the past 6 months and plus 4 months of make-up duties.

INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE 1.1

One of the best memories I had at EAMC was during our toxic days. I really can’t imagine what am I doing in that hospital. All I know was I did a great mistake that I really regret taking up medical technology as a course. Whew, tons of sputum to smear on a clean slide, that was my first day experience. But I learned to love the dirt, the infection that I might have, the accusations, the group rivalry, fights amongst my group mates, issues we were handling with different staffs and a lot more. I learned something, to be totally dependent to God even in the work place. There were times that I feel alone, I feel a little pressure about my business and my ministry, and I feel so lonely about the idea of spending lots of nights at the laboratory with the urine, the blood, the human secretions..huh.

my favorite people

it may not be a perfect family but i know that God placed all of us together to be a blessing to each other. i keep such great memories with my family specially when we were still young. majority of my character now is a product of how i was raised up. our parents raised us to be God-fearing individuals, to be a good citizen, to be humble, and thaught us to dream big like them...
my dream for my family is that we will grow together and that we will enjoy each other's company as we all grow in God

transformed by a movie

a film that made an impact to my life...it may not be the best movie, but while watching it, i saw myself in one of the characters and learned a lot from it.

TSALO

Go to fullsize imageTsalo means let us go...i learned this term when i went to India! and this is the message i preached right after i arrived here in manila.

There are three major places where God is calling us to go.

Are you ready to discover those 3 life-changing areas where God dwells?

  1. GO IN – there is a call to INTIMACY ( John 3:1-7) Nicodemus was a Pharisee- someone who accuses Jesus during his time (research more about this)

It was a taboo to see a Pharisee talking to Jesus that is why he visited jesus at night (verse 2)

Nicodemus saw Jesus differently; he recognized Jesus’ power and authority.

But the good news here was: JESUS NEVER REJECTED HIM BUT HE OFFERED HIS KINGDOM…HE EVEN PREACHED TO NICODEMUS THE MOST FAMOUS VERSE (JOHN 3;16)

We could see here that Jesus is more than willing to reveal Himself to those who earnestly seek Him.

Personally, I really want going to Jesus at night, when no one is looking around, when I know I will have an intimate talk with Him because yun ung mga time that he reveals great things in me and for me.

2. GO ON – there is a call for christlikeness (john 7:50-51)

after nicodemus’ encounter with Jesus, his life was never been the same again. He went with him and became one with his disciples, though secretly discipled because he is a Pharisee.

The message that Jesus preached to him was not just a knowledge that he kept but it’s the beginning of an eternal friendship with the Son of God.

The same way with us, we should find place for growth, let’s move on, let’s go where Jesus Christ is and be more like HIM

3. GO OUT – there’s a call to witness ( John 19:39-40)

finally, when Jesus died, Nicodemus went out. When the whole world was already doubting him, when Jesus’ disciples were already rejecting Him, when the world was persecuting Him, there was a man who went out—cleanse Jesus dead body and used myrrh to preserve the Son of God. Maybe while he was touching the cold body of JESUS, he was thinking about John 3:16—aha, this is the love of God, that He gave his only begotten son…

he went out and bore all the shame, he doesn’t care anymore what will the people might say against him because HE WAS A PHARISEE…as long as he could WITNESS the greatest demonstration of LOVE!

Let’s do the same, we are not all called to preach, not all called to prophesy, to teach, to be a missionary,…but we are all called to WITNESS. ACTS 2:32

You don’t need a passport, you don’t need to raise MPD to go to these places where GOD is calling us NOW.
